CISCO, Texas — October 7, 2025 — The Ranger College women's soccer team continued its outstanding run with a hard-fought 2–1 road victory over rival Cisco College on Tuesday afternoon. The win kept the Lady Rangers unbeaten in conference play and moved their overall record to 9-0-2 (4-0-1 conference).
First-Half Edge
Ranger struck first in the 16th minute when Nuria Alejo finished off a well-placed pass from Mia Gregory to give the Lady Rangers a 1–0 lead. The early advantage set the tone for a tight match between the two familiar foes.
Late Heroics
After Cisco leveled the score in the 55th minute, Ranger responded late. In the 80th minute, Lucia Rodriguez netted the game-winner off an assist from Abril Baronat, lifting the Lady Rangers to their ninth win of the season.
Defensive Stand
Goalkeeper Penelope Charrion anchored the back line, recording four saves while limiting Cisco to one goal on five shots on frame. Ranger's defense held firm through the final 10 minutes to preserve the win.
Looking Ahead
With the victory, Ranger College improves to 9-0-2 overall and 4-0-1 in conference play.
