Strong Showing from the Rangers at the Owen Hewitt Invitational

Strong showing from the Rangers in the "Owen Hewitt invitational" (Norman, OK). 

 

The Rangers took on Division-1, Division-2, and NAIA teams with the Rangers being the one of two JUCO teams at a strong meet. Needless to say a couple of individuals were able to complete with the best. 

 

Rangers Khanya Yali placing 4th overall in the mile and 2nd overall in the 3k invite. 

 

Lady Rangers Macie Morales placing 3rd in the mile and 8th in the 800 overall open. 

 

Lady Ranger Alyssa Mabry ran 11:06.00 to place 2nd in the 3k invite and capture the school record. 

 

Lastly Lady Ranger Ki'Sha Tyner made it to the finals of the 60 meter dash and placed 6th overall in the open. 

 

On our men's side there were 24 teams and the Ranger men placed 12th .

 

On our woman's side there were 23 teams and Lady Rangers placed 14th .

 

The Ladies and Mens Rangers will be back in action on Friday 1/24/25 and Saturday 1/25/25 as they face off against Division 1, Division , 2 and NAIA schools in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational .
