Ranger College Men’s Soccer Secures Perfect Week with Three Straight Victories
Ranger, TX – The Ranger College men's soccer team delivered a dominant stretch on the road last week, earning three consecutive wins over Jacksonville College, Pratt Community College, and Coffeyville Community College. The Rangers showcased offensive firepower, defensive discipline, and consistent goalkeeping to move forward unbeaten.
August 26 – Ranger 3, Jacksonville College 1
The Rangers opened the week with a strong 3–1 victory on the road at Jacksonville. First-half goals from Julian Fridgeirsson (assist from Brandon Blackshaw), Nestor Salazar (assist from Blackshaw), and Jon Erana Saenz (unassisted) powered Ranger to a quick lead.
Jacksonville answered once before halftime, but goalkeeper Luis Penis Gomez held firm with five saves across 80 minutes of play, with Jack Bisazza adding a late stop in relief. Ranger's defense absorbed second-half pressure to secure the result.
August 29 – Ranger 2, Pratt Community College 0
Two first-half goals by Kevin Dominguez, including one assisted by Sebastian Badillo, proved enough as Ranger shut out Pratt 2–0.
Goalkeeper Jack Bisazza recorded three saves in the clean sheet, while the back line denied Pratt opportunities throughout the match. The Rangers controlled tempo early and never looked back.
August 30 – Ranger 3, Coffeyville Community College 0

Bisazza was again unbeatable, making three saves to preserve his second straight clean sheet. The Rangers' attack stayed efficient, converting three of their chances while Coffeyville was stifled despite 11 total shots.
Looking Ahead
The Rangers outscored their opponents 8–1 over the three-match stretch, with standout performances from Salazar, Dominguez, Saenz, and Blackshaw leading the way. The defense, anchored by Bisazza's sharp goalkeeping, has now posted back-to-back shutouts.
