Rangers climb to No. 15 in NJCAA poll
The Ranger College men's soccer team is writing its own page in the school's history books.
The Rangers pounded out a 2-0 victory over the Hill College Rebels on Friday in the conference opener for both squads. The win ran Ranger College's season record to 7-0-1.
The win also impressed the national pollsters as the Rangers climbed four spots in the latest NJCAA poll to No. 15 – the highest regular-season ranking for the squad in the program's history.
"They're playing very well," said RC Athletic Director Scott Norwood. "We're excited to see what they can do."
Eastern Florida State College held onto the top spot in the national poll. EFSC claimed all nine first-place votes cast in the weekly rankings and easily edged out Salt Lake Community College and Indian Hills Community College for the top spot
