Rangers Pick Up Road Win at Hill College

HILLSBORO, Texas — February 4, 2026 — The Ranger College men's basketball team earned an important road victory Wednesday night, defeating Hill College 86–77 in Hillsboro.

Ranger led 42–35 at halftime and continued to push the pace in the second half, shooting an efficient 58.1% from the field while knocking down seven three-pointers in the win.

Cam Brown led all scorers with 28 points on an impressive 11-of-12 shooting, including a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc. Brown also added seven assists and four steals in a standout all-around performance.

Devin Whitten followed with 18 points and eight rebounds, while Gavin Headings recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Ranger also received solid contributions from Mafatime Ndiaye (9 points) and Jaylen Drane (7 points off the bench).

The Rangers totaled 24 assists on 36 made field goals and forced 16 Hill turnovers, helping seal the road win.
